Our president Paul Lewis closes the 2010 festival with performances of Beethoven concertos no.1& 2 thus ending his complete cycle of the concertos begun here in 2003.
In that relatively short space of time he has gone from rising young star to one of the most highly respected pianists in the world and we are honoured that he is both our president and an annual presence at the festival.
