Tonight sees the return to Chipping Campden of internationally acclaimed violinist Nicola Benedetti. Nicola first played for us here in 2005, just a year after winning the BBC ‘young musician of the year’ and we were delighted when she agreed to be one of this year’s soloists with the Academy. She will play concertos by Vivaldi and, after the interval, will be joined by the brilliant leader of our orchestra, Ruth Rogers, in Bach’s concerto for two violins.
