Patron of the 2010 festival
This may appeal more to businesses that wish to be involved in the ongoing support of the festival but we are happy, of course, to hear from individuals as well. Business logos (or individuals names) will appear in the programme and you will be invited to the Patrons and Friends champagne reception on May 9th. You will also be given a 2 week priority-booking period before the box office opens to the general public. Additionally, Patrons may claim one top price ticket for any three concerts.
Cost - a minimum donation of £500 to become a Patron of the 2010 festival
Friend of the 2010 Festival
This may be more appropriate for private individuals or smaller businesses. Again names will appear in the programme (unless you wish to remain anonymous) and you will be invited to the Patrons and Friends Champagne reception on May 9th. You will also be given a 1 week priority-booking period before the box office opens to the general public. Additionally, Friends may claim one top price ticket for any one concert during the week
Cost a minimum donation of £100 to become a Friend of the 2010 festival
Make up of the Academy Orchestra:
To ensure the highest standard of quality the orchestra is comprised of 50% experienced orchestral musicians and 50% Trainees. Each desk seats one professional and one trainee together. During the 2010 festival CCFA will perform with soloists of international standing; the brilliant young soprano, Elizabeth Watts, the acclaimed violinist, Nicola Benedetti, and our festival president the magnificent pianist, Paul Lewis. Once again the orchestra will be lead by Ruth Rogers and Thomas Hull will be our conductor. There will be open orchestral rehearsals and workshops in schools given by both the trainees and the professionals.
Accommodation
Last year we kept costs down by placing the musicians in private houses and hope to do so again. We have already had an excellent response but need a few more hosts in or close to Chipping Campden. They will need accommodation from Sunday 16th Sat 22nd May. All Hosts will get a 1week priority booking period for the orchestral concerts, an acknowledgement in the programme, and an invite to the sponsors reception on May 9th.
